At Unique Curtains and Blinds we offer two main systems, a Basswood timber shutter and a polyresin product. Both look terrific, with a range of louvre sizes, frames and colours to complement your home. They can be fitted so they are hinged, sliding or bi-fold, giving you the best option for your window.

Our polymer shutters are 100% Australian made from a dense, polymer foam. The beauty of this product is that is looks like timber, but it is actually a 100% renewable synthetic material, so no natural resources are destroyed in the manufacturing process.


Polymer is water resistant, fire retardant and provides double the insulation of wood and vinyl shutters. And a clever manufacturing system means there is no visible control rod, so you get an uninterrupted view.


Polymer shutters are flame retardant, termite proof and won't crack, warp, shrink or discolour. Available in three classic shades of white, the louvres are offered in three sizes – 64mm, 90mm and 114mm, so you are sure to find the perfect look.

Our Basswood shutters are hard wearing, with three louvre sizes (64mm, 90mm and 114mm) and 12 colours, including an aluminium look. A PVC option is also available with stainless steel fixtures - perfect for wet areas, such as kitchens and bathrooms.
